Clean out your car. A clean car will make your trip much more enjoyable.
Plan for emergencies. You should have a plan in case something goes wrong on your trip. Let friends and relatives know where you are supposed to be and when and also make sure you have vital items in your car, such as a first-aid kit, jumper cables, a flashlight and a proper jack and spare tire.
Make sure your car is in top working order. Before going on a long trip, you should have your car checked out. Bring it into our dealership's service center for a thorough check up and to take care of any issues that might pop up.
